Geekvape Wenax M2, the tight-draw pod up close
Search for “Wenax M2” and you may land on a sports car, a computer chip or a unit of area. The Geekvape Wenax M2 covered here is a pod from Geekvape, a cigar-shaped vape designed for a tight mouth-to-lung draw. The questions worth answering are what it adds to a Wenax range that already runs several pod families, and who it really suits.
Geekvape Wenax M2, a cigar-shaped pod for a tight draw
The Geekvape Wenax M2 is a pod with a built-in 1200 mAh battery, capped at 16 W, that takes 2 ml M pods in 0.8 or 1.2 ohm. It has no screen and no power setting, and two retailers describe it as firing automatically when you draw.
It aims at one specific use, a tight draw in a slim body with nothing to set up. Anyone after a looser draw or dense vapour is looking at the wrong device, and the rest of this piece explains why.
Where the Wenax M2 sits in the Wenax range
Wenax is not a single model but a range, organised around families of pods. Placing the M2 within it avoids comparing it with devices that play a different role.
The M family, one pod for four devices
Geekvape’s official shop presents the M pod as shared by the Wenax M1 (800 mAh), the Wenax M1 Mini (400 mAh), the Wenax M Starter Kit (2500 mAh) and the Wenax M2 (1200 mAh). The M2 therefore sits mid-family, with 50% more capacity than the M1 according to the maker.
The Q, K and H families
The Wenax Q models (Q2, Q Pro, Q Ultra) go up to 30 W, with Q pods from 0.4 to 1.2 ohm and, on some models, a screen. The K and H families use pods of their own, which leaves the M2 as the slim, strictly tight-draw member of a range that also covers restricted direct lung vaping.
A cigar shape 16 mm across
Geekvape lists it at 124.8 mm tall and 16 mm wide, in a cigar look the maker makes a point of. It is a slim object, closer to a pen than to a rectangular pod, and it slips into a shirt pocket.
The soft silicone mouthpiece sits between the lips without slipping. A second drip tip comes in the box, and Geekvape states compatibility with Wenax M series tips, so a damaged part can be replaced without changing the device.
M pods, filling and coil values
On a device with no settings, the pod does most of the work. Its details deserve more attention than those of the body.
Each M pod holds 2 ml and fills from the side. It carries its own coil, in 0.8 or 1.2 ohm, and Geekvape offers it in a standard version and a version with a filter. The kit comes with one 0.8 ohm pod.
Because the coil is part of the pod, the whole pod is replaced when the flavour fades. There is no coil to remove and no in-between value to explore, just two options to pick from depending on the draw you want. At 2 ml, the pod also sits within the UK cap on tank capacity.
Geekvape’s coil guide rates the 0.8 ohm pod at 14 to 16 W and the 1.2 ohm pod at 10 to 13 W. The 16 W ceiling of the Wenax M2 matches the top of the range of its hungriest pod exactly. The device has no power in reserve, and it does not need any for its own pods.
Settings, what the device decides for you
The lack of settings is a design choice, not an oversight. Geekvape describes an adaptive power system that adjusts itself to the pod fitted.
Firing is by draw, according to two retailers who describe it the same way. The maker’s page mentions no airflow control, and the only choice left to the user is between 0.8 and 1.2 ohm.
Charging runs through a Type-C port at 5 V and 2 A. Geekvape claims 80% charge in 40 minutes, a maker’s figure we have not measured.
Who the Geekvape Wenax M2 is for
The profile follows from the numbers more than from the marketing. A 16 W device with 0.8 and 1.2 ohm pods does one thing, and does it without fuss.
It suits an adult who wants a tight draw, a slim body and no menus. It suits less well anyone who likes to tweak, since nothing adjusts, or anyone after a direct lung draw. For that second profile, a pod mod with two pods such as the Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2, set against two rivals, follows a different logic.
Within the range itself, the Wenax Q Pro shows the next step. Geekvape gives it a three-position airflow control, from a tight draw to restricted direct lung, and a 30 W maximum, a sideways move from the M2 rather than an upgrade of it.
What Geekvape’s own pages leave out
A spec sheet can also be read for what it leaves out, and three pieces of information are missing from the Geekvape pages we checked.
The M2’s weight is not listed, although the maker gave 34 g for the M1. The firing method is not described either, hence our reliance on two retailers who agree. Finally, no e-liquid blend is recommended for the M pods. None of this is unusual in the category, but it is a reminder to check in store what the listing leaves out.
FAQ
These questions cover points the Wenax M2 specification does not settle at a glance.
Why does a search for “Wenax M2” bring up unrelated results?
M2 is also the name of a car model, a computer chip generation and a unit of area. Adding “Geekvape” or “pod” to the search clears up the confusion.
Does the Wenax M2 take Wenax Q pods?
Geekvape states that the Wenax M2 is compatible with Wenax M series pods and tips. Q pods belong to another family, and no compatibility with the M2 is claimed.
What does the Wenax M2 gain over the Wenax M1?
Capacity rises from 800 to 1200 mAh, and the pod stays the same. Geekvape lists 12 to 16 W for the M1’s adaptive power and 16 W maximum for the M2.
Is there a leather edition of the Wenax M2?
Yes. Geekvape’s official shop lists a leather edition in several colours alongside the standard versions. The specification is the same.
Can the Wenax M2 be sold to someone under 18?
No. Selling nicotine vaping products to anyone under 18 is an offence across the UK, and GOV.UK guidance says the age of sale of 18 extends to all vaping products from 29 October 2026. Retailers may ask for ID.
Geekvape Wenax M2, a pod that sticks to its speciality
Tubular, slim, with no screen and no settings, the M2 fills the tight-draw slot in the Wenax range, with an M pod shared by four devices. Its figures hang together, from the 16 W ceiling to the ranges of its two pods.
It is a tight-draw specialist rather than a Swiss army knife. Anyone who accepts that limit will find the Geekvape Wenax M2 a simple pod whose figures agree from one official page to the next, to be judged with the same grid as any other kit.

Written for adult readers only. Vaping products usually contain nicotine, which is addictive, and nicotine vapes are not for sale to anyone under 18 in the UK. Nébuleuse Mag sells nothing and this piece is not a buying recommendation.
